The Zentralraum Kärnten (Central Area of Carinthia) is on the verge of a significant step towards a future-oriented educational landscape. As a MINT region, certified by the Federal Ministry of Education, Science, and Research, the Zentralraum warmly invites all interested parties to the kick-off event on March 18th, 2024.

The MINT region of Zentralraum Kärnten, 1 of 14 new MINT regions in Austria, is distinguished by its focus on mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, and technology. This forward-thinking orientation aims to not only ensure a solid education and further training but also to meet the increasing demand for highly qualified workers in these fields. The strong cooperation between the Lakeside Park in Klagenfurt and the HighTech Campus in the tpv Technology Park Villach is set to be further strengthened in the future.

The kick-off event on March 18th at the Lakeside Science & Technology Park in Klagenfurt provides an ideal opportunity to present the vision and goals of the MINT region. In addition to the opening speech by Villach's Mayor Günther Albel and other prominent representatives, DI Dr. Christina Petschnigg will deliver a keynote on "Artificial Intelligence in the Classroom: How AI is Changing Schools."

The event also offers space for networking and exchange to strengthen cooperation between educational institutions, businesses, and the public sector.

Interested parties are warmly invited to register by March 13th and be part of this groundbreaking event.
