HIGH-TECH COMPANY WILD ACQUIRES LOCATION IN VILLACH
The tpv Technology Park Villach is set to welcome another successful business: WILD, a contract manufacturer and developer for industrial, medical, and optical technologies. The company has purchased a plot of land from the city of Villach.
A significant contract signing took place in the city of Villach: Representatives from WILD confirmed the acquisition of a 20,000 square meter area in the tpv Technology Park on Tuesday. Here, a modern development, production, and office building will be constructed. Mayor Günther Albel is excited about the new company, stating, "WILD is an excellent fit for the focus of our tpv Technology Park."
The plots were prepared last year through embankments for flood protection. In the presence of the main owner of LIAG, Alexander Liaunig, and the WILD Holding management team including Arthur Primus (Managing Director COO of WILD Group), Wolfgang Warum (Managing Director CTO of WILD Group), and Michael Wratschko (Managing Director CFO of WILD Group), the contract was signed. "The purchase of land in the tpv Technology Park is our largest single investment of the past decades, and with 20,000 square meters, it is a milestone to ensure the further growth of the WILD Group," says Arthur Primus.

With catalysts like the Silicon Austria Labs research center, the GPS training center, and the university of applied sciences, an ideal environment is provided here for us to intensify knowledge transfer and drive innovation. The architectural competition is expected to be completed later this year. "The start of construction depends on the further general economic development of the WILD Group," says Michael Wratschko.
