EMV Labor

The EMV Mess- und Prüflabor (EMC Measurement and Test Laboratory) in Villach is a state-accredited testing facility (No. 185) for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and offers a variety of measurements and tests. The laboratory is part of the Research Society of Carinthia University of Applied Sciences and relocated to the tpv Technology Park Villach at the end of 2022.

In close collaboration with various standardization institutes and organizations, such as the Austrian Standards Institute, the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization, or the International Electrotechnical Commission, the EMV Labor performs various EMC tests both on-site in the testing laboratory and at customer locations. The measurements are conducted, among others, in the industrial sector (machines and systems), automotive sector (components and subassemblies), devices for medical applications, devices and systems in railway and mining environments, as well as devices following telecommunications standards.
