KELAG SUPPORTS THE YOUNGEST RESEARCHERS

Kelag and its subsidiaries are supporting the Mini Educational Lab of the City of Villach: A cooperation agreement has been signed – with the shared goal of inspiring even the youngest minds to explore technology and science.
The agreement, signed on Monday at the Mini Educational Lab (MEL) in the tpv Technology Park Villach, is almost like a generational pact: From now on, Kelag is a reliable partner for the city's STEM research lab for young children – sending a strong message in support of education and the future.
Vice Mayor and City Councillor for Education Sarah Katholnig is thrilled about the successful partnership: “We are very grateful to Kelag for their strong support of our Mini Educational Lab. When everyone works together, great things can happen – that’s how a city thrives.” Kelag managers Adolf Melcher and Christoph Herzeg also signed the agreement with conviction:
The Mini Educational Lab is an exciting educational initiative that is very close to our hearts. You can’t spark children’s curiosity for science and technology early enough.

As part of the collaboration, apprentices from Kelag’s vocational training school will also be actively involved by developing exciting technical projects designed specifically for the youngest researchers. “This kind of knowledge transfer is completely in tune with the times. As Kelag, we are proud to support this meaningful educational pathway,” said Melcher and Herzeg.
Kindergarten groups from across Carinthia can book courses at the Mini Educational Lab in the tpv Technology Park Villach. More information about the Mini Educational Lab can be found here.
