KIRCHTAG ATMOSPHERE AT TPV

The Villacher Kirchtag once again made a stop at the tpv this year — with lived tradition, regional culinary delights, and lots of great vibes.
On July 31st, 2025, the tpv Technology Park Villach invited everyone to the traditional Kirchtag celebration on the tpv/HTCV grounds. Together with employees, partner companies, and friends of the technology park, the Villacher Kirchtag was celebrated — Austria’s largest traditional folk festival, marking its 80th anniversary this year.
LIVING TRADITION IN THE HEART OF TPV
Under the motto “Technology meets Tradition,” the event was all about regional connection. The highlight of the event was the so-called Kirchtagsladen by the Bauerngman Villach — a traditional performance in which a festive “Tusch” (fanfare), music, and dance invite everyone to the Villacher Kirchtag. The Trachtenkapelle Drobollach provided the musical accompaniment with hearty sounds and authentic Kirchtag atmosphere.
REGIONAL CUISINE & COLLEGIAL TOGETHERNESS
Alongside music and tradition, culinary enjoyment was also a key part: classic Villacher Kirchtag soup, freshly baked Reindling (a traditional sweet bread), and a cool drink made the lunch break a cozy celebration. Many employees from companies at the location took the opportunity to connect and chat in a relaxed atmosphere.
A FESTIVAL OF TOGETHERNESS
The tpv Kirchtag is a great example of how modern work environments and regional identity can be combined. We thank all those involved who contributed to the success of the event with their support and participation.
